Privacy Policy
Effective 16 October 2026. This policy explains what ZodiacGraph collects, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
What we collect
- Account details — your name, email address and password. Passwords are stored only as secure one-way (bcrypt) hashes.
- Birth details — date, time and place of birth (and its coordinates and time zone) that you enter to calculate your chart.
- Conversations — the questions you ask Guru, its answers and your saved chat history, and messages you send to our support team.
- Usage information — for example how many Guru questions you asked today, and when you last signed in, used to apply plan limits and keep the service running.
- Subscription status — your plan and billing period. Card and payment details are handled by Stripe or PayPal; we never see or store your card number.
- Current location (optional) — only if you allow it in your browser, used to show local transits and for KP Horary.
The free Kundli calculator
If you use the calculator without an account, your birth details are used only to calculate the chart and are not saved by us. To prevent abuse we briefly keep a count of requests per network address in memory; it is not stored. If you then sign up, the details you entered are passed to your new account so your chart is ready.
How we use your data
- To calculate and show your charts, daily brief and reports.
- To answer your questions with Guru.
- To run your account, apply plan limits and process subscriptions.
- To send service emails such as email verification and password resets.
- To provide support and keep the service secure.
Who processes data for us
We use trusted providers to run ZodiacGraph. They process data only to provide their service to us:
- Anthropic (Claude) — generates Guru's answers and your daily brief from your chart data and questions.
- Stripe and PayPal — payments and subscriptions.
- Brevo — sending account emails.
- Vercel and Railway — hosting the website and our servers and database.
- OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) — turning place names into coordinates.
- Google Fonts — loading fonts inside the app (our public pages host their fonts themselves).
These providers may process data in countries other than your own.
Storage on your device
We use your browser's local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language and cache your chart so pages load quickly. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long we keep data
We keep your account data while your account is open. Your daily brief is regenerated each day, and older chat sessions are trimmed automatically. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data except where we must keep limited records (for example payment records) by law.
Your rights and choices
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time. Use the support chat in the app or email support@zodiacgraph.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Children
ZodiacGraph is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and access to our systems is restricted. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the new effective date. Significant changes will be announced in the app or by email.
